About Me
Welcome! I’m Michelle, and I work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, trauma, ADHD, self-esteem, and relationship concerns. All services are currently provided via telehealth, allowing clients to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of their own space.
I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University and began my career in community mental health, where I worked as an outpatient therapist and later served as a clinical director. In 2025, I transitioned into private practice so I could continue supporting clients in a setting that allows for thoughtful, individualized care.
In addition to my experience treating anxiety, trauma, and relationship concerns, I have specialized training in ADHD and enjoy helping clients better understand how ADHD can impact executive functioning, motivation, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationships, and everyday life. Whether ADHD has been a lifelong diagnosis or is something you're only beginning to explore, therapy can provide a space to better understand your experiences and develop strategies that work for you.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my husband and our dogs, and being with friends and family. I also love reading and dancing, and I value making time for the activities and relationships that help me stay balanced and connected. Self-care is something I believe in strongly, both for myself and for the people I work with, and I encourage clients to find ways to care for themselves that feel realistic and meaningful in their own lives.
My Approach
I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a genuine connection between two people working toward a shared goal. My role is to provide support, perspective, and guidance while creating a space where you can reflect, grow, and better understand yourself.
My style is down-to-earth and conversational, and I aim to create an environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself while doing meaningful work together.
Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. Some are carrying the effects of trauma or anxiety, while others are struggling with ADHD-related challenges such as executive dysfunction, chronic overwhelm, emotional dysregulation, procrastination, or feeling frustrated by patterns they can't seem to change. Together, we work to make sense of what’s been happening, identify patterns that may be getting in the way, and build the tools and confidence needed to create meaningful change.
I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and ADHD-informed interventions, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs and goals.
Why I Became a Therapist
My interest in becoming a therapist grew from a long-standing fascination with psychology and human behavior and a deep respect for the resilience people show when navigating mental health challenges. I genuinely love the work that I do and feel grateful to support people as they grow, gain insight, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling.
I take my relationships with my clients seriously and care deeply about each person I work with. It’s truly meaningful to be trusted with someone’s story, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
